7th graders working on Simple Interest Project. They have to pick out three cars, determine principal and figure out the interest and balance for the final sale. They go to me “the bank” to get approved or denied. Once approved they will practice writing a check and sign a contract for their purchase.

Monroe City finished 4th in the CCC Conference Golf Tournament at Norwoods Golf Course. The Lady Panthers were led by Kyndal Benson who shot a 110 to tie for 12th place. Ava Potterfield shot a 117, Reagan Cheek a 119, Anna Lemongelli a 121, and Cam Hays had a 126
CCC Girls Golf Results
Congratulations to our 2023 Monroe City Trapshooting A Team! They competed at the Northeast District trapshoot on Saturday in West Quincy and tied for 6th place! They competed against 21 of the best teams in the Northeast district and shot a 461/500!
Also, big congratulations to Ayden Shortridge for placing 2nd high individual shooting a 98/100, and Holden Orf for placing 3rd high individual shooting a 97/100 and for shooting his first ever 50 straight!!
