A full day of softball and plenty of growth for our Lady Panthers at the Moberly Softball Tournament!
Monroe City opened the tournament with a 15-5 win over Westran before falling to Moberly, 9-5, in the semifinals.
In the 3rd Place Game, the Lady Panthers showed a lot of fight. Trailing North Shelby 8-5, our girls battled back to take a 9-8 lead late before eventually falling in a close one, 10-9.
A lot of great plays, competitive moments, and growth throughout the day. Keep working and keep getting better, Lady Panthers! 🐾🥎

With the completion of our new Monroe City weight room, Monroe City R-I School District is accepting sealed bids for surplus weight room equipment from our former facility.
Bids will be accepted through 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, and must be submitted to the Monroe City R-I Central Office.

Write “SEALED BID – WEIGHT ROOM EQUIPMENT” on the outside of the envelope.

Successful bidders will be contacted following the bid opening and review.
