⭐SENIOR SPOTLIGHT⭐
Naaron Hays
Parents: David and Amber Hays
Siblings: Ryan (junior at Mizzou), Camryn (junior), Carter (8th grade at HR) Hays
Future Plans: Finish one year at MACC next year and transfer to Mizzou to get my Bachelor of Health Science in Clinical and Diagnostic Sciences with an emphasis in Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound, hoping to specialize in obstetrics.
Favorite High School Memory: My favorite memory from High School was watching the boys win the 100th annual MC Tournament or scoring my 1000th point against Palmyra.
Favorite Teacher: My favorite teachers, other than my parents, are K-Dub, Mrs.Keller, or Mrs. Fuller.
Enjoys: I enjoy hanging out with my friends, shopping, painting, traveling, and cooking/baking.
Activity Involvement: Basketball, Softball, FCA, President of Science Club, Treasurer of NHS, Student Council-President of Senior Class, President of Art Club, FTA, Yearbook, A Honor Roll, Panther Players, Mu Alpha Theta and Gold Club
Favorite High School Class: My favorite classes in high school have been Biology with Mrs. Fuller and Algebra with Mrs. Keller.
Advice to Underclassmen: Believe them when they tell you how fast high school truly flies by.

Future Plans: I plan to attend Blessing-Rieman College of Nursing and Health Sciences for a Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Sciences.
Favorite High School Memory: My favorite High School memory is winning the 100th Annual Monroe City basketball tournament.
Favorite Teacher: My favorite teachers are Mrs. Weldon and Mrs. Crider.
Enjoys: I enjoy being with friends and family, traveling, shopping, and getting fun drinks.
Activity Involvement: I am involved in NHS, FTA, Mathematics Honor Society, Gold Club, Science Club, and FBLA.
Favorite High School Class: My favorite High School class is biology.

Future Plans: I will be attending State Fair Community College on an athletic scholarship for track and will be studying diagnostic medical sonography
Favorite High School Memory: My favorite high school memory would have to be is my sophomore year placing first at State for discus and becoming the first girl to win a state championship in disc for Monroe.
Favorite Teacher: My favorite teacher is Mrs. Williams aka K-dub.
Enjoys: I enjoy hanging out with my friends, family and shopping.
Activity Involvement: I’m involved in NHS, Student Council, FBLA, Basketball, Track, Cheer, and Dance.
Favorite High School Class: My favorite class is my Nursing class at votech

🏀⚫🟡 Final Score
Tonight our Monroe City Panthers boys basketball team represented our school in the Class 3 Sectional against the #1 MO ranked Principia Panthers — also ranked Top 10 nationally.
While the season came to an end with a 77-18 score, we are incredibly proud of the way our Panthers competed and represented Monroe City with class, effort, and heart.

Tonight our Monroe City Lady Panthers finished as Class 3 District 6 Runner-Up, falling to the Highland Lady Cougars by the score of 61–45.
We are extremely proud of the effort, toughness, and growth our girls showed throughout the season. This team represented Monroe City with class and determination every single night.
A special thank you to our three seniors — Naaron, Ava, and Timia — for your leadership and the legacy you leave behind. Your impact on this program will not be forgotten.
