What an incredible day for our Monroe City FBLA Chapter at Truman State University’s Bulldog Pitch Competition! We took our Freshmen members to campus, where they enjoyed a tour, a discussion with the Community of College Entrepreneurs leaders, and a catered lunch, in addition to the pitch rounds. We had six members compete with three innovative business ideas: Rosin Ready – by Bella, Maddie, and Kate Silent Heels – by Serenity and Audrey MareCare – by Paisley We’re proud of Silent Heels and MareCare for making the finals in a field of 79 entries! Silent Heels won 3rd and a $200 award MareCare won 2nd and a $300 award The day was a valuable experience for all 12 students, giving them the opportunity to learn, ask questions, and see what it takes to pitch in a real business setting. Great job, MCFBLA! 🖤💛

🏃‍♀️ STATE CROSS COUNTRY RESULTS | GANS CREEK – COLUMBIA, MO 🏃‍♂️

Our Monroe City Panthers competed at the MSHSAA Class 2 State Championships today at Gans Creek!

Brady McNeill (Jr.) represented Monroe City and ran a strong race, finishing 74th overall with a time of 18:04.

The Lady Panthers capped off a historic season by finishing 5th in the state, just one spot shy of the podium — an incredible accomplishment for this group!

Our Monroe City Panthers defeated Palmyra tonight in the Class 2 District Semifinals! The Panthers advance to the District Championship and will host the Brookfield Bulldogs next Friday, November 14th at 7:00 PM at Lankford Field.
