PRESCHOOL SCREENINGS Preschool Screenings will be held March 31-April 8th at the Monroe City Methodist Church (217 Catherine St). These are a FREE Developmental Screening offered to all families within our school district. Children must be 2 1/2 -4 years old by the date of screening. We are not able to screen if your child does not meet this age criteria. If you are interested in your child attending preschool next school year we must screen your child to determine eligibility. We will continue to offer FREE preschool for 3 and 4 year old students next school year. If you plan to send your child to Holy Rosary Preschool we are more than willing to share their scores with those preschool teachers. If you are not interested in preschool, but want to know how your child is doing developmentally we are more than willing to screen your child as well. Monroe City R-1 school is planning on attending a full day tomorrow, Thursday, February 20. Students that ride from Kendrick trailer court will have bus #11 available from 7:15 to 7:30 AM at the intersection of Prosperity and Easy to avoid waiting at the bus stop.
