Recently we have installed vape sensors in our restrooms, these sensors are in place solely to attempt to minimize/eliminate vaping on school property. The sensors will communicate with the cameras in the hallways, there are NOT cameras in the restrooms.
Monroe City R-1 School District will be hosting a Veterans Day Assembly in the HS Gym on Friday, November 11th at 2pm. We're asking all participants that have pictures to turn them in with your information to the HS office by Friday, November 4th.

Click-It-Or-Ticket Event @MCHS
Congratulations to everyone at Monroe City High School! One hundred twenty-four drivers and passengers participated in the Click-It-Or-Ticket event held at Monroe City High School on October 6, 2022. One hundred twenty-one drivers and passengers were wearing their seatbelts and three were not wearing their seatbelts. All drivers received a safe driving treat bag! Out thanks goes out to you and all teachers, students, parents and School Resource Officer Nate Bias from Monroe City Police Department. We will do this fun, safe driving event again in the Spring 2022.
We have another safe teen driving event-"Is It Worth It?" coming to Monroe City High School on November 29, 2022 at 1:30 p.m. Thanks for all your support of safe teen driving!
