Monroe City High School Fall Showcase
The Monroe City Black and Gold Band traveled to the Shelby County Classic Marching Competition today and competed in parade. They came away with 2 awards—Gianna Quinn won 2nd place in 2A drum majors and the band won 3rd place in 2A parade competition.

Good luck Lady Panthers!! District play begins tonight! #MCPRIDE 🥎
On Wednesday, MC High School section leaders traveled to Culver-Stockton College for an honor choir. Students learned music with 165 other students around the area, watched the Culver-Stockon choirs perform, were given a campus tour, and ended the day with a concert of the songs they learned that morning!

On Monday Night vs Salisbury she recorded her 100th Career Hit as a batter and 300th Career Strikeout as a pitcher!! #MCPRIDE
MCMSXC wrapped up their season in Centralia with 1st (for the 5th time this season!!) out of 7 teams for the girls and 5th of 10 teams for the boys! There were 6 individual medals in the top 15 and PRs for nearly all! Congrats on an amazing season!!
This past weekend at the Fall Festival, the MC Alumni Choir performed in St. Jude's Church. Connie Walker was joined by Austin Long, Shannon Quinn, and Miss Patterson in conducting the choir and performing. Additionally, Mrs. Coleman, Miss Bartholomew, and two high school students, John Paul Quinn and Aidan Hunter joined in the choir during this performance.
