Monroe City R-1 High School End-of-Year Message
As we bring the school year to a close, there is so much to celebrate. From academic achievements to outstanding performances in extracurricular activities, our students and staff have given us many reasons to be proud.
This year also brought its share of challenges, particularly as some of our staff faced serious medical scares. Yet, in the face of adversity, our school community displayed incredible resilience and unity. Our staff and students stood strong, showing what it truly means to persevere together.
I want to recognize the steady and impactful leadership of Mr. DeGrave and our school board. Their guidance continues to lay a strong foundation for success, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to thrive.
To our teachers: thank you for your unwavering commitment to putting students first. Your dedication to education does not go unnoticed and is deeply appreciated.
To our students: thank you for showing up, working hard, and striving to reach your full potential. You are the reason we do what we do.
