Monroe City FFA What started with an early morning, some very questionable weather, determined kiddos, and a whole lot of outdoor contests, ended up into a beautiful and successful day! Districts Day 1 was eventful to say the least, but did allow a for a few teams to punch their tickets to State! We are so proud of our kids for not only their hard work, but for also being troopers through it all. We appreciated the energy and enthusiasm they exhibited for what started out as a not so fun day, to one for the books! Stay tuned for Day 2 Results on Monday!

🎶This past Saturday, March 29th, the High School Music Department took 19 events to the District Solo & Small Ensemble competition. We have 2 instrumentalists, Kiya Hester and Luke Lehenbaur, and 2 vocalists, Aidan Hunter and Emily Spalding, moving on to the State Competition on May 1st. None of the students got below a 'Satisfactory' rating, which is an amazing accomplishment.
